If we don't already have this info, would it be instructive to find out
from Klokan what, exactly, the change was and what kind of error it's
likely to introduce into the tool's output? Wouldn't it be useful to know,
hypothetically, if the error was, say, less than 1% across the board, or
only discernible at latitudes above, say, 60 degrees? I'm pulling these
examples out of my you-know-what, but I see no reason to throw the
bounding box baby out with the bathwater if it's still potentially reliable
in some circumstances.
