As requested, here is the list of all the books and other materials that were suggested in response to a History faculty member’s search for readings that “focus on maps and cartography, helping the mostly History graduate students think about maps as sources, problems in their construction, how maps lie, etc., and how to bring historic maps into a GIS.”
