The U.S. Geological Survey’s Geosciences and Environmental Change Science Center seeks to hire multiple, full-time permanent geologist positions at a GS-11 grade. The duty station for these positions is Denver, Colorado. Geologists are expected to conduct geologic mapping in the Intermountain west region of the western U.S. both independently and as part of a team. Applicants with experience in producing and publishing geologic mapping and associated GIS databases and experience in various disciplines including surficial deposits, and volcanic, plutonic, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks are encouraged to apply.
