Oops! Next thing I know is I open a drawer and find English 1:20,000 maps from the 50’s from the Survey of Israel. But it is weekend and my library is closing and if I don’t get out I will have to stay here till Sunday…
Sorry…

Dear Scott,

After reading Ahava Cohen’s mail I read yours a little bit more careful. The sheets your faculty member wants from the 50’s are mostly already printed in Hebrew. Down below I mentioned the last English and the first Hebrew sheets that are in our holdings. There could be some sheets that we don’t have but it gives a consistent picture of the situation. The last English printing was usually in 1948/1949 (by the army – they usually don’t mention if they changed anything from the British mapping they copied). Maybe your faculty member would be willing to consider using 1:100,000 sheets that were printed by the Survey of Israel in English and Hebrew during the 50’s.

Here you see a few examples:

I am sure the National Library has them on their website, but I could also send you these maps scanned.

Sincerely,

Krina

I am seeking help in finding digital or physical copies of the following map sheets from the Survey of Palestine 1:20,000 series—(specifically, any edition from between the years 1940-1947) (I know about the 1930s editions on Wikipedia—I need the 1940s editions) :
