WAML 2023, the annual meeting of the Western Association of Map Libraries will be held in Vancouver, BC from Wednesday August 9 to Saturday August 12, 2023 on the University of British Columbia (UBC) Vancouver campus. While the main conference activities will be planned around in person attendance, there will be virtual options to view live presentations, and for WAML members to participate in the business meeting, sounding board, and executive board meeting. Conference registration information, including pricing options, will be available at a later date. WAML is committed to keeping registration costs at a minimum, and in recent in-person years this has been kept under $50 USD. Accommodations - Reserve as soon as you can! We have secured fairly affordable accommodations on UBC’s campus so we can be close to the conference rooms and other campus amenities. Please reserve your room as soon as possible so we can make sure the rooms stay affordable. Accommodations can get pricey in Vancouver especially during the summer months.
