For its Knowledge & Collections department, the Allard Pierson is recruiting a 

Jansonius curator for (digital applications in) historical cartography (0.4 fte)

The Jansonius curator advises the Allard Pierson and cooperates in making the cartography collection available and in promoting its use. We are looking for a highly motivated person who will increase the collection’s coverage with the use of specific digital applications and initiatives, starting within the University of Amsterdam; someone who will perform a pivotal role in the dynamic between (a) education and research in innovative University of Amsterdam projects, (b) heritage collections of the Allard Pierson and (c) digital applications. The Jansonius curator will thus contribute to the further promotion of the Allard Pierson collections in general and the cartographic collection in particular.
