We have two exciting map positions open in the Stanford Libraries and am hoping you or someone you know will be interested in applying!

The first is the map librarian at Branner Library.  The person in this role manages the circulating map collection and geospatial data/resources, including purchasing, cataloging, and supporting faculty and students.  They work closely with the Earth & Environmental Studies Librarian, the Stanford Geospatial Center, and the David Rumsey Map Center. The second is the head of the David Rumsey Map Center.  The person in this role oversees the work of the Center and manages 2 full time and 1 part time staff member.  They manage the historical map collection both in paper and digital format, purchase for the collection, support faculty and student work, and manage a full calendar of events.
