MapLink in Santa Barbara lists several commercial maps of egypt. THe largest
scale for the whole country is 1:950K, published by Kummerly & Frey. For just
the Nile Valley/Delta region, Carta (an Israeli firm) publishes a 1:500K map.
MapLink carries what national topo series it can, but doesn't have Egypt's. The
best topo coverage they carry are the DMA TPC aeronautical charts for the
region, at 1:500K.
 
You might want to try Omni Resources in the Research Triangle area of North
Carolina. They tend to get geological and natinal atlas materials more
thoroughly than MapLink.
