----------------------------Original message---------------------------- While it does not appear from my limited tinkering that tracts can be displayed *with the LANDVIEW software*, the tract boundaries are certainly present on the disks and can be extracted for use with other mapping and GIS programs. We have done so successfully. (Just to throw out one more example on which to gauge the speed of LANDVIEW, displaying the map of Walla Walla County, Washington (a 10 MB file), directly from the CD-ROM drive (a double spin drive) with a 486DX2/66 with 32 MB RAM took 25 minutes.)
