I think that it's $50ish, but it's now available in paperback as well as hardcover. We just recently received a paperback copy, and it's a fantastic book! >----------------------------Original message---------------------------- >Did you ever receive info on this atlas? It is an excellent book for an environmental sciences library (which is what we are)- longist chapters and good imagery, often manipulated in GIS. I will allow it to circulate in this library and will not treat as an atlas. Sorry- will bring the thing in tomorrow and maybe quote from he preface so you have more than an idea. But I would not use this as a reference work, or atlas, and I think that is the main thing Cheryl wants to know. I think it is a very good publication for any science library.
