----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Perhaps this has happened to many of you when you are purchasing atlases? You look at the title and think, sure that would be good for the collection. Recently, I ordered "Atlas of Eastern Europe in the 20th century" and when it arrived I was very disappointed. It is not what I would call an atlas but rather a text with some maps. For $90 Cdn, I returned it. So, how do you define an atlas? Simply a bound book of maps? Or a certain percentage of the entire book? Cheryl Woods Map Curator University of Western Ontario London, Canada Serge A.
