----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Aloha, Recently while visiting the Library's Government Document's Collection to pick up tax forms d:), I came across something that might be useful to some of you. The latest Consumer Information Catalog, Spr.'97 lists, among a bunch of many free and low-cost federal publications, a pamphlet called "Discover America : A Listing of State Tourism Offices of the U.S.". It is a list of State Tourism offices, their addresses, and phone nos. (many are toll-free, by the way). It's a source of acquiring many freebie tourist and highway maps from the individual States. From the description in the catalog: "Use this list to order free vacation information including maps, calendars of events, travel guides, and much more. 4 pp. (1996. DOI) 379D. 50c[ents]." You can order copies of this pamphlet from Pueblo, CO. _OR, BETTER YET_, you can view this item (text only) thru the internet at: http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov (click on "travel and hobbies) Hope some of you find this useful.
