----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Dear Colleagues, My favorite big map is the Mapa en Releve (releif map) in Guatemala City. Completed in 1905 , this map was constructed of concrete and paint and shows volcanoes, rivers (with running water at times, though not when I was there) and town names. Very large, very cool. It has two observation towers for viewing. If I can find my photos, I'll try and post them where everyone can take a peek. If you are in Guat City you should go and see it. All of the cab drivers know where it is. Scale 1:10,000 The cartographer was from Quezaltenango. Mark Walker, Mgr. Treaty Oak-Map Distributor
