----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Dear List members, A great number of people and institutions have (rightly) asked about the status of the ACMLA Bulletin - specifically, when it will be published ! The Winter 1997 (Jan-April) issue is at the printers and will be mailed VERY shortly. The Summer and Fall 1997 issues will be formatted and sent out as quickly as possible. Material for the Summer and Fall issues has been received by the editor, and you will note that those two issues will include the proceedings of the 1997 ACMLA Annual Meeting held at the University of Saskatchewan. We are very sorry for the delays, and we fully understand the concerns of members and subscribers. Unfortunately, due to both labour disputes and technical changes at the institution where the Bulletin is published, we have met with unforseen delays. As always, we invite members and non-members within the library and cartographic community to submit materials for publication. Sincerely, James Boxall 2nd VP, ACMLA ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ James Boxall (Map Curator) (t) 902-494-3757 Map Collection, Science Services (f) 902-494-2062 Killam Library, Dalhousie University (e) [log in to unmask] Halifax, Nova Scotia www.library.dal.ca Canada B3H 4M8 /science/mapcoll.html "What in observation is loose and vague is in information deceptive and treacherous" Francis Bacon, 1621 Si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes........:-) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
