We have thought about this one before, but we felt video was too "temporary"
a medium.  I have seen a demo of fire insurance plans that were photographed
using a digital camera, then burned onto CD.  The digital camera option
would allow the exhibit to be web mounted, and audio could be added along
with text on both the CD and the web version.  Isn't LC doing something like
this with the American Memory Project ?  If so, they may be a source of
advice and assistance.
