Those of you who are struggling with implementing GIS or other
computerized mapping applications in your libraries may want to take a look
at a new Web page put together by the MAGERT Education Committee.

The page consists of links to a variety of help guides to computerized
mapping products. The page is divided into "Guides to GIS Software and
Data" and "Guides to Other Computerized Mapping Products." The links on
this page include tutorials to various GIS products, some exemplary
applications of these products, and various in-house guides designed to
help library users work with GIS and other mapping software.

This collection of links can be accessed from the MAGERT home page at:
<http://www.sunysb.edu/libmap/magert1.htm>. From there you can either
click on "Links to Other Cartographic Resources" or on the Education
Committee page under "MAGERT Committees."
