Good morning Athens
 
I would love to attend your conference but the theme; History of
Cartography limited to the countries surrounding the Mediterranean is too
narrow a theme.
It will put a lot of potential participants off (what about the Portuguese,
Blau, what about Mercator? and many others, there is nothing that can
compare to the great Cartographic breakthroughs these people made what
happened in the Mediterranean area since the Roman days).
 
Please think it over if the choice of the theme is a wise one.
