----------------------------Original message---------------------------- An interesting and well done DIGITAL ATLAS OF NEW YORK CITY. Stanford has cataloged this internet resource (and theoretically the catalog record ought to appear in RLIN and OCLC at some point). The following information is from the author: The California Geographical Survey and the Department of Geography at California State University, Northridge are pleased to announce the addition of a new atlas to their Electronic Map Library. The new Digital Atlas of New York City contains almost 150 color maps of the city's five counties. They display 1990 census data related to population, race, ancestry, income, poverty, commuters, adult educational achievement, and household types. Data are mapped by census tracts. The Digital Atlas of New York City may be found on the Web at http://130.166.124.2/NYpage1.html Professor Bill Bowen Department of Geography California State University, Northridge 18111 Nordhoff Street Northridge, California 91330 email: [log in to unmask] tel: 818 677-3528 --------------- Phil Hoehn, Map Bibliographer Branner Earth Sciences Library Stanford University Stanford, CA 94305-2210 [log in to unmask]
