Comments are now being sought on the Federal Geographic Data Committee's
proposed Data Content Standard for Facility Location and
Indentification. This standard defines a set of data elements to support
the location and identificaiton of place-based objects generally referred
to as facilities. Comments must be received by April 10, 1998. More
information on the public review of this standard can be found on the
FGDC web page at www.fgdc.gov
