Here is a good general travel map covering that popular area of North
West Mexico due south of Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. The map
features contours to show elevations and a detailed road and rail
transportation network with kilometres. The map legend is in both
English and Spanish and administrative boundaries are clearly shown.

This map features the Yucatan on the one side and Southern Mexico on the
reverse. It uses contour lines and spot elevations to show elevation and
features many inset maps of the various Maya sites; Chichen Itza, Uxmal,
Palenque, Tulmen and Tikal. There are also inset maps of the Monte Alban
site in Oaxaca and regional maps of the Acapulco and Puebla areas.

There are not many different travel maps of Surinam available and this
seems to be one of the best available on the market today. Hypsometric
tints of colour and spot elevations are used to show elevations and
there are three inset maps which show the average rainfall, the
population distribution and a street map of the Paramaribo urban area.
There is a large block of text information with general things to see
and do and a flag of the country with facts & figures. The nature
reserves are all named and outlined as well as the Amerindian reserves
spilling over into Guyane.
