Depends on the scale and the use.  For official OS mapping, the Pathfinder
1:25,000 topo will cover Edinborough as a standard printed topo sheet, about
$10 or a little more.  For the OS, the 1:10,000 scale is the largest scale
map that shows contours.  These are special-order, tailor-made maps that are
customer-specified center-point and printed-on-demand.  Contour interval is
5 m in urban areas.  I'll have to check current price.
