Thanks for your reply! Aerials are of all sizes but most look approximately 14"
X 14". In your portfolios does each photo have its own slot with perhaps a place
for a label for identifying contents? In any case it looks like some kind of
flat case is in order. Where is good place to order such?

What size photos do you have? 9 x 9? Or larger? We have a
sizeable collection at CSU Fresno of the larger format
aerials. We keep them stored flat in map cases, each year
separate in portfolios we make from archival quality paper.
