This is to announce that the Bakosurtanal Map Series mentioned later on in
this message will be deliverable from now on. The series will be mentioned
on the Mapswap site DURING APRIL 1998.
Please keep the following items in mind:
1) Dates between brackets are indicating oldest-newest issues in a series.
However, where newer editions are available, these ones will be delivered
automatically.
2) Although it is possible to order for a few or even one map(s) we strongly
advise you not to do so as in that case the maps will be very expensive due
to special "fees and favors" to be paid for every order, small or great. We
advise you to order for map series on the same way as they are presented
here; i.e. "province grouped".
3) We friendly ask you to make inquiries for prices and ordering conditions
ONLY if you have the intention to order. Sorry, we do not have enough time
to answer questions just for reasons of curiosity.
4) ALL Bakosurtanal orders have to be prepaid fully.
5) Delivery time of most series will be approx. 4 weeks after receipt of the
payment.
6) We do apologize for the relatively expensive maps. However our profit -
we do not feel any reason to wrap this in mystery - is mostly less than 15
%, which is far beyond the percentage of our Indonesian partners.
7) Aside the mentioned series, Bakosurtanal sells a huge amount of digital
map products, satellite- and radar images and land use maps. We will specify
these products in MAY 1998 on the Mapswap site. However one can order for
them from now on.
