Hi, Sami -

For sheet-fed, large-format color plotters, you've basically got two
choices these days, Tektronix or HP. I view sheet-fed as the only way
to go if you will have users doing the plotting, i.e., you don't want to
hire somebody to run the plotter full time. If you have a mainframe or
serious Unix box and have somebody to run things full time, then
Calcomp-Versatec and Iris are possibilities. Expect to pay around $10K
US for the Tektronix or HP + whatever shipping to S.A. Expect to pay
something considerably more than that for the Calcomp-Versatec or the
Iris.

All of them will require that you use their special magic printing
"juice" or whatever they use for the "ink" source. They all have
special magic paper as well, but both Iris and Tektronix allow you to
print on anything you want from rice paper (in Tektronix's minimum paper
thickness) to Bristol board (Tektronix's maximum paper thickness) and
cardboard (Iris' maximum paper thickness).

HTH.
