Digimap is funded by the UK Higher Education Funding Councils Joint
Information Systems Committee (JISC) Electronic Libraries Programme to
deliver Ordnance Survey digital maps over the Internet. Digimap is being
run as a Trial Service from 1997-99 in partnership with the Ordnance Survey
and is based in the Data Library at the University of Edinburgh.  A number
of national bibliographic and geographic services are already available
through the EDINA National Data Centre in the Data Library at URL
http://edina.ed.ac.uk/
