----------------------------Original message---------------------------- The first I have heard of the Distributed Geolibraries Workshop, National Research Council, Washington DC, 15-16 June 98. I just wrote a flip response to this, (which I erased). It was so easy, (to write and erase). It is a shame that "real time" geolibrarians who work with spatial information, digital and/or paper and with users, real and/or virtual couldn't have been invited. There are enough map librarians that could have provided some content. Actually, I'm also surprised to not see any NSDI representative.
