Does your public never have need for the information on the older sheets? I learned long ago that having superseded sheets alongside the current can show a visual representation of growth and develpment (or lack of it) of an area. The practice I've known of is to keep older editions with the current sheet. _________________________________________ Ken Grabach <[log in to unmask]> International Documents and Maps Librarian Miami University Libraries Oxford, Ohio 45056 USA On Wed, 2 Sep 1998, Johnnie Sutherland wrote: > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > Date: Tue, 01 Sep 1998 12:33:36 +0600 > From: Richard Stringer-Hye <[log in to unmask]> > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: Storage Boxes for Topos > > In lieu of our buying new metal map cases for a load of superceded > topos that we plan to move to our storage facility, we are interested > in buying archival type boxes for the maps.
