For information on obtaining that image, folks can call EDC Customer Services at 605-594-6151. Other examples of satellite-derived images can be seen by way of the EDC home page at <http://edcwww.cr.usgs.gov/eros-home.html> Hope something useful turns up. Kennedy" <[log in to unmask]> Subject: satellite image of africa Greetings maps-l, We have a member of the Art faculty searching for a satellite image of the continent of Africa. His plan is to enlarge it so it covers most of a wall in an exhibit hall. He wants the image to be more than an "overhead shot". Preferably something that shows "depth" of the continent. If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful. Sounds like and excellent idea, if we can find the image to begin with. Much thanks. Liam R.
