Missouri Press, 1994 covers part of your description. It contains text, one or more 19th century birdseye views of the cities and modern aerial photographs by Alex MacLean, which try to match the view point of the 19th century artist. An exceptionally interesting book. Unfortunately, St. Cloud is as close as he gets to Canada. Hope this helps Allen Allen Hjelmfelt Pioneer Trails Columbia, MO --- Begin Forwarded Message --- Date: Fri, 21 May 1999 23:17:27 -0400 From: Nat Case <[log in to unmask]> Subject: <no subject> Sender: Nat Case <[log in to unmask]> To: maps-l <[log in to unmask]> Reply-To: Nat Case <[log in to unmask]> Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]> Am I going mad? I remember seeing a book a few months ago (or less) that combined historical birdseye (or panoramic) views of selected US and Canadian cities with contemporary aerial photography and text. It's not John Reps' _Birdseye Views_, and I'm not having any luck finding it referenced online. Nat Case Hedberg Maps, Inc. --- End Forwarded Message --- --- End Forwarded Message ---
