        A colleague who attended ALA forwarded a glossy handout about the US National Atlas to me.  It discusses the fact that it will be a joint government-commercial venture.  A company called Lexon Technologies has been selected to help develop the Atlas.  It refers people wishing more information to their web site: http://www.lexontech.com/atlas/.  Thought that you might be interested.  Linda Zellmer
