Map Calendars
Hi Linda and others,
Pomegranate has published two antique map calendars for the year 2000.
"Antique Maps" is from The Admiralty Collection; ISBN 0-7649-0816-2, $12.95 in the U.S.A.: 2 world maps, 2 maps of the Western Hemisphere, 1 each of Africa, North America, South America, and Asia; 2 of Europe, 1 Arctic, and 1 Southern
Hemisphere.
"Geographical Fun: Humorous Maps of Serious Countries" is the Library of Congress 2000 Calendar, ISBN 0-7649-0859-6, $11.95 in the U.S.A.  This is a complete set of the 12 maps in a geography book to amuse children created by Aleph (William Harvey 1796-1873).

I haven't seen the calendar you refer to as published by Dorset Press, nor have I seen those produced by Hermann Haack or Te Neues press, both of which publish map calendars each year.

Hello,

As the end of the year approaches, some of you may start looking for a map calendar for your office.  I have been able to find an Antique Maps Calendar published by Dorset Press.  Not to give any recommendations for bookstores, but I found it at Barnes & Noble.  Has anyone else found another?  Linda Zellmer
