A premier institution of higher learning and a constituent college of the
University of Delhi, SGTB Khalsa College is organizing an International
Symposium on Ciliate Biology, on 06-07 Feb 2007.
1. Plenary sessions on biodiversity, ultrastructure, nuclear peculiarities
(dimorphism), developmental strategies and species interactions including
parasitism and endosymbiosis.
2. Panel Discussions
3. Workshop on ciliate ecology and biodiversity
4. Presentations by young scientists.
5. Visits to biodiversity parks, national zoological parks and wild life
College and university teachers, scientists and research scholars who are
interested to participate may apply online at conference website (will open
in mid September 2006) or through e-mail or on plain paper to the organizing
secretary, giving their name, designation, address, phone no./ email id.
Registration is open to a limited number of participants and, the deadline
for registration is 30 October 2006.

Accompanying persons will be charged 25% less.
*Students are defined as full-time students, enrolled for degrees or
