ERICA GILES in CONTEST to be a KASEY KAHNE'S ASSISTANT

Erica was a National FFA Finalist this past year in Agriscience Student
of the Year, Emerging Agriculture Technology Proficiency, and
Agriscience Fair. She says that the skills she learned in FFA were
essential to her making it to the 4th round of this competition.
You will see on Erica's video that she cites her accomplishments in FFA
as examples of her ability to accomplish goals!

Background: Erica is competing for the opportunity to be Kasey Kahne's
assistant for one week. For those of you not familiar with Kasey, he
drives the #9 Dodge Charger for Evernham Motorsports in the NASCAR
NEXTEL CUP RACING SERIES. Erica has progressed to this 4th stage of the
competition. Phase 1 was the online application (50 chosen), Phase 2
was a 15-minute telelphone interview (15 chosen), and Phase 3 was to
create a video (9 chosen). Phase 4: Fans vote for the entry they
believe displays the most public appeal as a Kasey Kahne representative.
The 3 entries with the most votes will be the Contest Finalists. The
Finalists will travel to Las Vegas, NV in March to participate in a live
interview. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen at that time. Grand
Prize: Spend a week at Evernham Motorsports in Statesville, NC and then
the weekend in Darlington, SC for the NASCAR race. There are also
numerous other prizes as part of the package including two computers, a
toolbox, and a television.
