Shorebirds are flocking here at our local fishponds. Water supply is
very limited due to the almost permanent hot weather.
Lakes are drying out attracting more and more wading and shorebirds.
Yesterday the first Temminck's Stint appeared while Tringa sandpipers
are in very nice numbers.
The fall migration looks to be promising from the available and
suitable habitat point of view.
