I. REC FEST '09
Head over to the Ramsey Student Center on Tuesday, August 18, 4-7 pm for Rec Fest '09. Learn more about the facilities and programs Recreational Sports has to offer students - Intramural Sports, Club Sports, Aquatics, Fitness and Wellness, drop-in activities and the GORP outdoor recreation program. There will be prizes and give-aways as well as refreshments.
And, all fitness classes are FREE the week of Aug. 17-22 so check out one of over 100 different classes during the week to include some water fitness classes.
AND, the Strength and Conditioning workout rooms have been completely renovated and updated. Check out all the new machines--many of which have personal TV screens! Come on over to have fun, meet new people, learn new

II. ICA UNITY COOKOUT!
Don't miss out on the ICA Unity Cookout on August 19th. Stop by Reed Quad after 4;00pm for some food, and to learn about ways to get involved with ICA student organizations. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends!
III. JOIN A NEW ORGANIZATION!
Interested in dancing, performing, leadership opportunities, doing service work, learning about different cultures, or just meeting new people?! Make sure to check out the many students organizations part of the Department of Intercultural Affairs. There are over 40 organizations that offer a variety of ways and opportunities to get involved!
IV. STUDY ABROAD REPRESENTATIVES IN MEMORIAL HALL
Are you interested in studying, working, or volunteering abroad? If so, you can stop by Memorial Hall on Tuesdays and Fridays between 1:30-5:00pm to meet with a study abroad representatives. No appointment is necessary these are walk-in sessions! The study abroad representatives will be in Memorial Hall, Room 233 (in the ICA Department suite). You can also schedule an appointment to meet with a study abroad advisor at their main location downtown at the Bank of America Building.
V. COFFEE HOUR STARTS THIS FRIDAY!
Coffee Hour starts THIS WEEK! Make sure to stop by the Memorial Hall, Ballroom between 11:30-1:30pm this coming Friday, August 21st. There will be refreshments, music, and good conversation! For more information contact the International Student Life office at (706) 542-5867.
