International Internships

If you are interested in an international internship, come to a
presentation by Günter Seefeldt, from International Cooperative Education,
Monday, November 8 at 8.45 in Joe Brown Building # 201. He will also be
available for student interviews until noon. Come to the presentation, then
sign up for an interview slot. Bring a resume, if possible. International
Cooperative Education offers one to three month paid internships in many
fields in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland,
Singapore and Japan. Students must be between ages of 18 and 28, and have
studied at least one year of college-level German, French, or Italian,
and/or a minimum of two years of college-level Japanese (no Finnish
necessary for Finland). $200 application processing fee and $600 fee once

The Office of International Education will be hosting two information
sessions: Ben-Gurion University and Australearn.

Thinking of studying in Australia or New Zealand? Come by 215 Barrow Hall
on Wednesday, November 10, 1999 at 3 p.m. and meet with Brad Dorahy of
Australearn. Learn about various study abroad opportunities in the land
down under. Australearn is your link to universities and internships in
this part of the world.

Unlock the Secrets of the desert…meet with Ben-Gurion University of the
Negev's, Rebecca Weinstein on Monday, November 15, 1999 at 4 p.m. in 215
Barrow Hall. The Overseas Student Program combines coursework with
experiential learning and offers students the opportunity to immerse
themselves in Israeli culture and society. The program is small in size and
large in scope encouraging students to take full advantage of their
environment. BGU offers students the opportunity to truly understand
Israeli society from within. The BGU Overseas Student Program offers
international students the opportunity to experience Israel from an Israeli
perspective, learning and experiencing numerous adventures along the way.
