International Internship Opportunity

The US-UK Fulbright Commission has one vacancy for a volunteer intern for
June-September 2000 to work in its US Educational Advisory Service in
London as an Information Officer. The internship is unpaid, but intern will
be reimbursed for local travel costs and lunch costs each day. After one
month in the position intern will also be reimbursed for the Work in
Britain Program fee for students who use their services to get a work visa.
Full time interns are preferred, though part-time interns will be

Student Job Opportunity at International Student Life at UGA

The ISL Office needs a part-time student worker to answer the telephone and
assist ISL staff with the reception area for April, May, June and possibly
for the summer semester, 2000.  They need someone who can work 12 to 15
hours a week, either mornings or afternoons.  They will only be
interviewing two to three students for this part-time position. Please
write a letter of application including a brief description of your
experience and why you feel you should be considered for this position.

International Street Festival

The time has finally arrived for the long-awaited International Street
Festival, sponsored by International Student Life. It will be tomorrow
Saturday, April 8 from noon to 5:00 on College Avenue downtown. There will
be international displays, music, cultural events, performances,
handicrafts and games. This is a great way to become familiar with and get
involved in international groups on campus.
