Camp Representative for Peace Corps Position Available

There is a graduate student position available for an on-campus Peace Corps
recruiter at the University of Georgia.  Duties: serves as Peace Corps
representative on campus, providing students and Athens community members
with information about Peace Corps Volunteer opportunities; assists
volunteer candidates through the application process; organizes and carries
out informational sessions and special events to promote Peace Corps
service, in coordination
with other units on campus; participates in career fairs; conducts
preliminary interviews; forwards applications to regional recruitment
office in Atlanta; prepares periodic reports to Peace Corps as required;
some in-state travel required.  Qualifications: RPCV must be successfully
enrolled as full-time masters or doctoral student at the University of
Georgia (Athens campus) for the Fall 2003 semester, strong
organizational/time management skills and public speaking a must.  Review
of applications will begin July 8th and will continue until position is
filled.  Benefits include: tuition waiver, salary comparable to full

Scholarships for Study Abroad

CIS - the Center for International Studies offers several scholarships for
Study Abroad. Because they have received only a handful of scholarship
applications for the fall, they are extending their deadline for
application to 15th of July 2003. They will continue to take applications
for Bond University in Australia, as well as the other Fall programs in
