WANTED: Undergraduate Student Representative to the UGA
Study Abroad Risk Management Review Board

Are you a returned study abroad/exchange student looking to
get more involved?? Applications are now available from the
Office of International Education for the Undergraduate
Student Representative to the UGA Study Abroad Risk
Management Review Board position.
The appointment of the undergraduate representative to the
Risk Management Review Board is typically for one academic
year -- August to May. However, our current student rep will
be graduating and we need a replacement to begin in December
and continue through all of next year. This term may be
renewed for additional years of service. The Risk Management
Review Board meets approximately four times during the
academic year, currently on Fridays from 9am-11am.
The undergraduate student representative provides other
members of the Board with a student’s perspective on the
issues under consideration by the Board. This position
gives the student an excellent opportunity to broaden
his/her experiences and learn from direct participation how
decisions are made that affect the university. The student
representative may also be called upon to serve on other
committees relating to international education. The
undergraduate student representative is a voting member of
the UGA Study Abroad Risk Management Review Board.
