ATTENTION SPRING SEMESTER STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS:
CREDIT APPROVAL FORM REMINDER
This is a reminder that you should complete the Credit
Approval Form before you depart for your study abroad program. The
form
serves to let UGA know you will be studying abroad, and to pre-approve
transfer
credit.
Provided here is the link for the Credit Approval
Form:
http://www.uga.edu/oie/sacafdown.htm.
The form will require you to go to the
Undergraduate
Admissions and then to your academic advisor. When it is complete, it
should be
returned to our office at least 3 weeks prior to departure. You will
not
receive any financial aid, including the HOPE scholarship, if you do
not fill
out this form.
Also, the Credit Approval Form is available in our
study
abroad library in 209 Barrow Hall or you could set up an appointment
with a
study abroad advisor to explain it to you by calling 542-7903.

SPRING 2005 FOOTBALL LOTTERY FOR STUDY ABROAD
STUDENTS
If you plan to study abroad during the Spring 2005
semester,
please continue to check your UGA e-mail account while you are away. The Office of International Education (OIE)
will send you information about participating in the lottery for home
football
tickets for the 2005 season. OIE offers
the only way for students who are abroad in the spring to obtain
football
tickets. (Leaving your ID with a friend
to have it scanned will not work!) Info
about football tickets usually goes out in March as the lottery takes
place in
early to mid April. If you do not
receive a message by the end of March, please feel free to contact OIE.

TSUNAMI RELIEF EFFORTS AT UGA
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT LIFE
In conjunction with various international students and some
of the ISL student organizations, ISL will be hosting a Tsunami Relief
Fund drive
over the next few weeks. During that

the victims of the tsunami during Coffee Hour by observing a few
moments of
silence as well as collecting donations.
If you are interested in helping ISL fundraise or have any
questions,
please contact ISL at 706-542-5867 or via email at [log in to unmask].
