POSITION:  Environmental Horticulture Instructor

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Twelve month position responsible for developing and teaching courses related to Environmental Horticulture program.  Duties include: lecture, lab instruction/activities, student advisement, recruitment, retention, registration, and other duties as defined in Department of Technical and Adult Education policy.

       Must have an earned Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture, Masters Degree preferred
       Three years of full-time teaching/work experience in field within the last five years
       Teaching experience at the post secondary level preferred
       Excellent communication skills and computer skills
       Excellent planning, design, coordinating, and time management skills
       Possess the ability to be innovative, enthusiastic, creative, and flexible

SALARY/BENEFITS:  Salary commensurate with education and experience.  Benefits include paid holidays, annual leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Program.
