Attached is an excel sheet that matches Ford dealers by state to the local schools that they have selected to include in their search for scholarships. To qualify student must: Be a high school senior or collegiate student with active FFA membership Pursuing either a two or four year degree. If they are going to a technical school for a 2 year degree they would qualify also. ANY MAJOR Visit their local Ford dealer for their signature and dealer sales code Complete the 2007 National FFA scholarship application(typed) I have included the dealers that were refunded their money last year due to zero applicants. Please be sure that multiple students are applying and getting the local Ford dealer signature. To qualify for the 2-year lease on a Ford truck for their chapter they must have at least 3 qualified applicants with the participating dealer signature. Please refer to the scholarship book for specifics on the Ford truck lease program. This year we have a few dealers that are offering up to 5 scholarships for one school so be sure to send in lots of applicants. Students getting the Ford signature are making themselves eligible for the Ford scholarship program. The National FFA begins with the highest dollar amount scholarship and goes down. Students that have the Ford signature will be included in the Ford scholarship after the higher dollar scholarships are awarded. They are increasing their odds of being a scholarship recipient, not limiting their application to only the Ford section. Please work with advisors in getting the word out that all students should apply for National FFA scholarships and obtain their local Ford dealer signature. Students that do not have a participating Ford dealer should visit their local dealer for a signature to be included in the national search that Ford provides, for schools that do not have a participating dealer. There are 5 national Ford scholarships that will be awarded. Lets show Ford our appreciation for local scholarships to local students by having the largest turnout for applications to be signed this year!. Scholarship applications must be complete, typed and postmarked no later than Thursday, February 15, 2007. Participating Ford dealers will be updated and posted, as well as the application is available on the www.ffa.org website under scholarships. Thank you in advance for spreading the word about these opportunities. <<Ford dealers to state staff 01 17 07.xls>> Thank you, Lori Randle Corporate Giving Coordinator National FFA Foundation, Inc. 6060 FFA Drive PO Box 68960 Indianapolis, IN 46278-1370 Ford scholarship hotline 800-769-3105 Fax: 317-802-5241 Email: [log in to unmask] The FFA Mission FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
