I hope the week is starting out well for each of you. It’s a balmy 10 degrees here. But it’s sunny. J
Each year, some of the national FFA scholarships are targeted to specific cities, counties or chapters. Unfortunately, each year, we struggle to find adequate applicants to receive some of these scholarships. We need your help. Could you please review the below list and work with local advisors to be sure that students are aware of and apply for these state and area specific scholarships.
The scholarships below are broken down by state, followed by the sponsor and the counties and/or chapters selected. Please urge advisors in these areas to strongly encourage their FFA students to fill out applications ASAP. All applications must be postmarked by February 15, 2007. Additional details on these scholarships and applications can be found in the 2007 Scholarship Book and on the FFA website at www.ffa.org/programs/scholarships. Thank you, as always, for the help.
Oh, almost forgot, GO COLTS!
As a reminder, Tulsa Welding offers two $1,000 welding scholarships per state, plus Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
