*WAIVE YOUR FEES WHILE ABROAD!!!*

If you are studying abroad during Maymester or Summer and will not be
registering for any other classes during these sessions, you can waive your
transportation, health, and Ramsey fees when you register for study abroad
classes.

Registering for a class coded REGT will NOT automatically waive these fees,
but will ALLOW the student to do so. If you do not waive them, you will be
charged them.

The technology fee cannot be waived. If you have any questions about waiving
fees for study abroad, contact the study abroad office or the bursar.

*SUMMER CREATIVITY COURSES IN EUROPE*

Professional Development Opportunity: Summer Creativity Courses in Europe
2007. An inspiring way to learn and travel. Participants are eligible to
earn 3 graduate or undergraduate university credits for taking the workshop.
You can choose from Crete, Prague, Bruges, Florence, Barcelona or Dublin and
Spring Workshops in New York City.

Participants do exercises in sense perception, collaboration, free form
writing and drawing, associative thinking, constructive daydreaming,
visualization, and relaxation technique. We teach from the point of view
that people are by nature creative and that creativity, like DNA, is unique
to each individual. We believe that creativity is best served in a playful,
nurturing, and non-competitive environment where freedom and focus go hand
in hand. We concentrate on creative process rather than product and on the
idea of creativity as a way of viewing and appreciating life. Most of all,
like the imagination itself, the Creativity Workshop is fun. The Workshop is
designed to help you and your students find new sources of inspiration,
break through creative blocks, give yourself the permission and time to do
creative work, and develop a daily practice to accomplish these goals. The
only requirements for the Creativity Workshop are curiosity about the
creative process and a sense of playfulness. Class size is limited. Reserve
your space in advance. Classes meet 3.5 hours per day. You can obtain 3
University credits for taking any of these workshops. Contact us for
details. Workshops in Europe start at $1,700 for tuition and 9-night
accommodations. Airfares are not included:

Teaching and Learning's North Conference room for our last
Service-Learning Interest Group meeting this academic year. Our special
guest will be Dr. Robin J. Tricoli, UGA's new Associate Provost for
Institutional Strategic Planning, who will be speaking about "Engagement
Across the University." Dr. Tricoli will talk about what engagement
means at UGA as well as provide information on the strategic planning
process and what this means for service-learning. Dr. Tricoli is very
interested in hearing from each of you, so this is an excellent
opportunity for conversation about the exciting work you are doing in
your departments, programs, and communities, and how such innovative
work can be fostered at UGA.

strategic planning and citizen engagement, please read the recent
