Teachers,

Please see the message below from National FFA concerning bus parking and
loading/unloading in Indy. Construction on the Indianapolis Colts' new
football stadium will cause some interference with a couple of streets in
downtown. It does not look like this will effect everyone, but it might
impact some you, so please review it carefully.

Greetings:

I wanted to give everyone a heads up regarding the impact of Lucas Oil
Stadium Construction on the use of the FFA chapter school or charter bus
load and unload zones on South Street. The information below will be sent
out this afternoon in an email blast to all chapters who have purchased a
bus parking pass.

If you have any questions please give me a call 888-884-4132

Jim

Attention Convention Participants who will be arriving by school bus or
charter bus:

Due to the Lucas Oil Stadium construction, South Street between Capital Ave
and Missouri Street will be closed to traffic with the exception of FFA
buses accessing the South Street load / unload zone.

South Street will become a one way westbound street. To access the loading
and unload zone, all buses must be westbound on South Street. If you are
heading south on Capitol Avenue, you have the option of turning right
(westbound) onto South Street to access the load/unload zone.

Convention Participants unloading/loading on South Street will have two
options to access the Indiana Convention Center: (1) Walk West on South
Street and North up Missouri Street to the Convention Center entrance at
Maryland Street. (2) Walk North on Senate Street (the blue painted
street) towards the Dome, proceed up the stairs at the back of the RCA Dome
and go AROUND the building on plaza level. You can then walk down the Gate
1 staircase to access the Indiana Convention Center at the Capitol Avenue
entrance.

Buses transporting participants with disabilities will need to use the
load/unload zone on Capital Ave just south of Georgia Street.

Note, due to construction, you cannot walk East on South Street and North on
Capitol Avenue from South Street!
