Dear UGA International Students and Scholars,

Below is a reminder from the developers of CINTAX:

Individuals using CINTAX must PRINT and MAIL the tax return. CINTAX will NOT file the tax return electronically for you.
Unfortunately, nonresident students are not eligible to file electronically. After you have completed CINTAX, you must print, sign, and mail the tax return.

You should also keep a copy of the tax return. CINTAX deletes all tax records on June 16, (or earlier if so requested) so you MUST keep a copy of the tax return for at least three calendar years following the date filed (four calendar years in total).

Please e-mail [log in to unmask] if you have any questions. If you have not yet used CINTAX please e-mail [log in to unmask] for the CINTAX password and directions.

Remember: If you present at all in the U.S. in 2007 you must completed tax paperwork. Even if you did not work. Tax paperwork should be mailed to the Internal Revenue Service (federal government) and Georgia Department of Revenue (state government, if you have to do state forms) by APRIL 15TH.

Thank you,
