EVENT TONIGHT, Tuesday, March 18th!
Amnesty International will be having two UGA grad students, Monica Arboleda Giraldo and Jairo Arcila (who is in the Spanish dept at UGA), presenting on the human rights situation in Colombia.  Both Monica and Jairo are native Colombians and have done much work on human rights violations against women and young people in their country.
-The meeting will be in SLC, Rm. 148, at 7:00 pm.

THURSDAY, MARCH 20TH: Preserving Palestine's Cultural Heritage

-A Photo Exhibit of Architectural Heritage in Palestine
Distinguished guest Khaldoun Bshara will present a lecture titled "Preservation of Cultural Heritage in Palestine".  Mr. Bshara is a Fulbright Fellow and the head of the conservation unit of RIWAQ (www.riwaq.org)- a Ramallah based non profit organization whose main aim is the protection and development of architectural heritage in Palestine.

Just a reminder that tax forms must be mailed by April 15th! If you are an international student still needing to complete your taxes e-mail [log in to unmask] for information about the Georgia 500 workshop, walk in sessions, and available appointments. If you need to complete your federal forms e-mail [log in to unmask] from your UGA e-mail account for the CINTAX password and directions. And remember, if you were present in the U.S. in 2007 you need to complete tax forms. Even if you did not work!
