Teachers,

The 2009 Georgia FFA bus trip to the Washington Leadership Conference is
June 22-28.

If you have students that would like to be part of the WLC bus trip, please
have them register by *Friday, May 1* (this is the Friday after State
Convention). Registration information can be found on the Georgia FFA
website (www.georgiaffa.org) by going to the Conferences page and clicking
on the Registration Form.

The cost is $810 for students and advisors. That fee covers the conference
registration fees, bus fee, lodging fee, and most food costs. *In order to
be part of the Georgia FFA bus trip, you do not need to register online for
WLC on the national FFA website.* Please register through the state FFA
office by submitting the registration sheet and money to the Georgia FFA
Association.

If you have a student who earned a WLC scholarship, they will be receiving a
letter in the mail about claiming their scholarship and getting themselves
registered for the bus trip.

Please act quickly if you have students who want to visit our nation's
capitol for this powerful opportunity. Advisors are welcome to attend as
well. There is a great advisors program available and the chance to see
Washington D.C. with your students. The trip is a life-changing experience!
