*2009 Ornamental Horticulture Field Day * *at the UGA Horticulture Farm in Watkinsville*** * * *The faculty and staff of the Department of Horticulture at The University of Georgia cordially invite you to attend their biennial Ornamental Horticulture Research Field Day at the UGA Horticulture Farm in Watkinsville, Georgia on September 25, 2009. Faculty will be stationed throughout the farm to discuss their research projects. In addition, retired professor Dr. Michael Dirr will make a return visit to show some of the outstanding new plants originating from his on-going breeding and evaluation program. * *Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and tours start promptly at 9:00 a.m. rain or shine. Dress appropriate for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. * *A $20 registration fee includes a barbeque lunch and parking passes for those who want to visit the campus trial gardens.
