“Design Your Own Landscape”

This program will cover the basics of how to begin to develop or improve
your own landscape plan and choose the proper plants to make your home a
show place. The principles of landscape design, site analysis, plant
selection and hardscaping will be covered. There will also be information
presented on selecting plants for different areas that are too shady, too
wet or too dry. Each participant will receive numerous handouts as well as
lunch and refreshments. The program will be taught by UGA Horticulture
faculty Bob Westerfield and landscape architect, David Berle. Registration
is required.
